Mmmmm....

Merino!! The color is a little darker and less teal in real life. I'm in love with it. I only have an little bit - maybe an ounce - so it won't ever become anything but oh I like to spin it! And I just thought merino was nice to knit with - HA!Don't forget to de-lurk!! Leave a comment or send me a e-mail knitnthings[at]gmail[dot]com so I can put your name in my hat for the bloggey-birthday drawing. Got to be in it to win it!

Your spinning looks great, J. What spindle is that?
(Planning to spindle shop at the sheep-thingy!)

that spindle is a double whorl stone spindle - the likes of which are featured on kpixie with all the yarn botanika spindle kits. fyi. i think i may have forgotten to include that information. oops!

i like spinning up a worsted merino, myself. :) be good to include in a hat or something - like a conspicuously placed teal stripe, you know? or you could always just skein it up and carry it in your purse...for future reference. ;)

oh, the brand of the spindle is "woolyvines." i think they have a website you may order from directly...

Looks like your getting the hang of spinning! Merino is my favorite fiber to both spin and knit with. There is just somthing so soft and comforting about it.

Happy spinning!

oh well done.
I'm hanging out for a wooly fix.
Once this weekend's Quilt Show is out of the way and we've recovered, a friend is going to teach me to use her electric wheel... yahoo

Had to tear myself away from the Kool-Aid to come over and see what you're up to. Spinning! WOW! Ok, back to dyeing... x

PS: Parcel not there yet?

You spinning is coming along very nicely. That's a bee-yoo-ti-ful color, too. I'd like to participate in the contest: tlhsimondsATyahooDOTcom.

Hey Jody! Even if the color is not accurate, it sure is a pretty color! Happy Bloggy Birthday!

So, are you enjoying spinning yet? Hee hee, as if you need one more hobby!

Get me in the contest, baby!

PS, I started another sweater.
